Argument is held regarding Intervenor’s Notice of Forthcoming Motion to Intervene filed
on February 4, 2026.
Plaintiff’s counsel, Joe Smith, agrees to sequester the requested disputed total lien in the
amount of $752,967.06 in Burg Simpson’s trust account until the matter is resolved.
IT IS ORDERED the parties shall make any and all efforts to resolve the disputed
requested lien.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED approving the Parties’ Joint Motion to Approve Settlement
and Settlement Agreement filed on December 16, 2025.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED Defense counsel, Jill Herman, shall provide the Court a
