IT IS ORDERED that the Parties shall file a Joint Report and proposed form of
Scheduling Order which shall include a deadline for mediation within ten (10) business days, by
no later than June 9, 2023.
LET THE RECORD REFLECT that, consistent with the recommendation set forth in
Comment 5 to Rule 2.11, Arizona Rules of Judicial Conduct, to “disclose on the record information
that the judge believes the parties or their lawyers might reasonably consider relevant to a possible
motion for disqualification,” out of an abundance of caution, and to permit counsel an opportunity
to confer with their clients outside of the presence of the Court pursuant to Rule 2.11, Arizona
Rules of Judicial Conduct, this judicial officer makes the following disclosures:
1. This judicial officer presided over a criminal matter in which Plaintiff’s counsel, David
Eric Wood, was the representing attorney for the Attorney General’s Office.
Additional disclosures are made by Defendant regarding a prior counsel within the law
firm having worked with this judicial officer sometime during her tenancy at the Attorney
General’s Office.
The parties have no objections to this judicial officer presiding over this matter.
11:20 a.m. Matter concludes.
