The Court has considered Plaintiffs’ Motion for Alternative Form of Service and
Extension of Time for Service for Defendant Michael David Good and Jane Doe Good filed on
October 14, 2013. Good cause appearing,
IT IS ORDERED: 1) That under Rule 4.1(k), Ariz.R.Civ.P., the Court grants the
Association permission to serve Defendants Good via the following alternative form of service
and that service by such means will be deemed personal service: a) By posting a copy of the
Summons, Complaint, and this Court’s order on the padlocked gate at Defendants Good’s
residence at 8625 E. Belleview Pl. #1057, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257. b) By mailing, via certified
and first class mail, a copy of a Summons, Complaint, and this Court’s order to Defendants Good
at their address as set forth in Paragraph 1, supra; 2) That under Rule 4(i), Ariz.R.Civ.P., this
Court grant an extension of time for service of Defendants through January 21, 2014, or thirty
(30) days after the Court has signed this Order, whichever is later, so that the Association may
accomplish such alternative form of service.
