CASE TRANSFER TO NORTHWEST JUDICIAL DISTRICT
The Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County is pleased
to announce the opening of the Northwest Regional Center, a
facility that will provide four new judicial divisions. Located
between Greenway and Bell west of Litchfield Road in Surprise,
Arizona, the new court will provide improved access to the
Northwest community. On May 24, 2002, the Arizona Supreme Court
approved new Maricopa County Local Rule 12 pertaining to the
formation, boundaries, procedures and administration of the
Northwest Judicial District. All case transfers into or out of

the Northwest Judicial District after July 22, 2002, shall be
governed pursuant to the provisions of Maricopa County Local Rule
12.
The Honorable Norman J. Davis has been appointed as the
Presiding Judge for the Northwest Judicial District.
IT IS ORDERED transferring this case in its entirety to the
Northwest Judicial District for all further proceedings. This
case is reassigned to calendar number NWJ02, before the Honorable
David R. Cole effective Monday, July 22, 2002. Any hearings,
trials or other matters scheduled after this effective date will
be held before the Honorable David R. Cole. Any notices filed
pursuant to Civil Rule 42(f) will be reassigned to another judge
within the Northwest Judicial District.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED the original court file bearing the
case number CV2001-020027 shall now bear the Northwest case
number set forth above, CV2001-070127. Any pleadings filed in
this matter on or after July 22, 2002 shall bear ONLY the
Northwest case number.
The Court is presently conducting a review of all upcoming
hearings and events previously set in cases selected for transfer
to the Northwest Judicial District to determine whether any
conflicts exist in the new divisions. Any hearing or event
presently calendared will be held in the newly assigned division
at the same date and time that currently exists, unless you
subsequently receive notice from the court resetting the matter.
LET THE RECORD REFLECT THE FOLLOWING:
1.
The Clerk of the Superior Court will continue to
maintain and store the original, hard copy court file at the
Customer Service Center, 601 West Jackson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003.

state of the art equipment for case presentation. Please note

1. The e-courtroom does not have a court reporter present.
If you wish to have a court reporter present for the
duration of your trial, you must notify the court at
least 72 hours prior to the beginning of trial.
2. If you do not wish to use the services of a court
reporter,
but
would
like
a
recording
of
your
presentation, please provide the court with an unopened
VHS videotape. A specific type of videotape must be used
for this system in order to ensure the most reliable
record: Fuji Super HG 120 VHS SNG T-120 or equivalent.
Tapes are available in the Change of Venue sundries store
in the cafeteria.
