AZ HOA Attorney Community Forum — Community Guidelines

This Forum exists to help Arizona homeowners share experiences, discuss HOA governance issues, and access information about HOA attorneys, law firms, and legal processes. To keep this a productive and safe space, all members must follow these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat other members with respect, even when you disagree. Personal attacks, name-calling, and harassment will not be tolerated.

2. Share Truthfully

When sharing your experiences, be honest and factual. Clearly distinguish between facts (what happened, documented evidence) and opinions (your interpretation or feelings). Using phrases like "In my experience..." or "I believe..." helps clarify your perspective.

3. No Defamation

Do not make false statements of fact about individuals or organizations. You may share your genuine experiences and opinions, but knowingly posting false or misleading information is prohibited and may expose you to legal liability.

4. Protect Privacy

Do not post personal private information of any individual, including:

• Home addresses or phone numbers
• Social Security numbers or financial account information
• Private correspondence without consent
• Information about minors

Public records (such as OAH case filings, ADRE decisions, and publicly available court documents) may be discussed and referenced.

5. This Is Not Legal Advice

Members sharing information or experiences are not providing legal advice. Always consult a licensed attorney for your specific legal needs. Do not rely solely on Forum posts to make legal decisions.

6. Stay On Topic

Post in the appropriate forum category. Keep discussions relevant to Arizona HOA issues, governance, legal matters, and related topics.

7. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Do not post advertisements, solicitations, or promotional content. Attorneys and professionals may participate in discussions but should not use the Forum for advertising.

8. Report Problems

If you see a post that violates these Guidelines, use the "Report Post" button. Do not engage in arguments with rule-violating users — let the moderators handle it.

9. Consequences

Violations may result in:

• Warning — for minor or first-time violations
• Post removal — content that violates Guidelines will be removed
• Temporary suspension — for repeated violations
• Permanent ban — for severe or ongoing violations

10. Moderation Transparency

Moderators will act in good faith to enforce these Guidelines consistently. If your content is removed, you will be notified with an explanation when possible.

These Guidelines may be updated. Check back periodically for changes.
