The Court has received the Plaintiff's Motion to Reopen Case and Extension to Serve
Defendant Brandi Doty filed April 17, 2024. The Motion is not well-taken. Plaintiff previously
filed an almost identical request on September 27, 2023. At that time Plaintiff reported learning
of the incorrect service of Brandi Doty. The filing is misleading to the extent the pending motion
suggests "it has come to our attention that Defendant Doty was not served." Indeed, it came to
Plaintiff's attention as early as September 27, 2023 when they filed the Expedited 2nd Motion for
Extension of Time to Serve and the Court granted a second extension to serve Defendant Doty
until January 2, 2024. Apparently, no action was taken and Plaintiff has had more than six months
to make attempts to locate Ms. Doty. The Motion fails to identify any efforts made before or after
January 2, 2024 to locate Ms. Doty.
