Community Guidelines

These guidelines exist to keep discussions productive and protect everyone — including you — from legal risk.

1. Be Respectful
Disagree with ideas, not people. No personal attacks, name-calling, threats, or harassment. This includes HOA board members, attorneys, judges, and other forum members.

2. Cite Public Records
When discussing specific cases, attorneys, firms, or HOA actions:
  • Reference public records: OAH case IDs, ADRE complaint numbers, court docket numbers
  • Link to the relevant page on yourazhoaattorney.com when available
  • Clearly distinguish facts (what records show) from opinions (how you feel about it)

3. Protect Privacy
  • Never post home addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or private correspondence
  • Public records (court filings, ADRE decisions, corporate records) are fair game
  • When in doubt, redact personal details

4. No Legal Advice
Share your experience. Share what you learned. But do not tell other members what they "should" do legally. Always recommend consulting with a licensed attorney.

5. Label Your Opinions
Use phrases like "In my opinion," "Based on my experience," or "I believe" when sharing subjective views. This protects you and helps readers evaluate the information.

6. Stay On Topic
Post in the appropriate forum category. Off-topic posts will be moved by moderators.

7. No Spam or Self-Promotion
No advertising, affiliate links, or commercial solicitation. Attorneys and firms may not use this forum for marketing.

8. Report Problems
Use the Report Post button (the ! icon) on any post that violates these guidelines. Do not engage in public arguments about rule violations.

Violations may result in post removal, warnings, or account suspension at moderator discretion.
